Not only have I forgotten to write the Jem post but, there have been one of those days you wish you hadn´t gone out of bed.

Among many things…

I decided to upgrade my guestbook for the main site since a new version was released today.
Of course I downloaded the wrong update package and probably ruined the whole installation.
Its one one of those time you are actually happy that the guestbook was empty. :)

A while ago I wrote a post called They are a Gem. Well, they aren´t a Gem, they are a Jem. And not a they either since she is a she and not a group.
The only correct thing from that previous post is that the song is called “They” and that I heard it on the radio, I think.
Anyway, if you wanna know more about this great singer, check out jem-music.net.
Thank you Andreas (Nephew) for correcting me. :)

On the following link is something called The Thousand-hand Bodhisattva dance.

Its performed by 21 hearing impaired girls and boys by China Disabled Peoples Performing Art Troupe.

Quite cool if you ask me. (h)

As many others I burn my backups on a CD or DVD. To do this I use Nero.

A few weeks ago they released version 7 of their burning software. I didn´t have the money to purchase the upgrade at the time, but today I did.

After a few weeks of reading about it in different media and waiting for the content in my wallet to grow, today was the day.
The purchase was done, the download was done. Installation went fine, although it took nearly an hour and 2 reboots.
After all this waiting I was like a kid on christmas just before he/she opens the gifts.

I haven´t played around with it alot today due to lack of time, but so far I am disappointed. :(
As far as I can see there is only one new function included.
Ok, I shouldn´t complain, I would have purchased this version anyway since I try to keep all my stuff in the computer updated to keep bugs and other things to a minimum. But I did expect a little more than one new function.

I´m just glad I only had to pay the special upgrade price for it and not the full price. :) Tomorrow I will check out every little inch of this software. ;)

Samantha, the owner of Sami´s site have birthday today.

Happy Birthday Samantha <:o)

If you want to learn about Sweden and the swedish language, perhaps the blog How to learn Swedish in 1000 difficult lessons is something for you.

The blog is written by an American who moved to Sweden a few years ago. I didn´t know about this blog until it was mentioned in the Swedish news paper Aftonbladet.
I have read this blog now for a little while and I would highly recommend it for those who wants to know more about daily swedish things and our language.
