The word for today is snö which means snow.

The “Ö” (last letter on the image here) is pronounced, more or less as the “I” in sir.

Here in the states (at least where I live) snow is a bad 4-letter word!

snö  A cuss word! Certainly not one of my favourite words but being from Canada I am more than familiar with it!

It certainly is a “bad” word here as well.

But since the white stuff will arrive some day every year anyway, it may just as well be named something, but personally I know a few other “better” words for it.
