I wonder if Facebook are losing members?
Why would they otherwise publish 2 “invite” tools?

I can´t be alone with this problem. Almost every time I try opening an email in gmail I see this, but nothing more.
On top of the page it says “loading”, but then nothing more happens. I can click the “New window” link, but I should not need to.
Why and is there something I can do about it?

From Wired
Hans Jørgen Olsen, a 12-year-old Norwegian boy, recently survived a moose attack by feigning death, “just like you learn at level 30 in World of Warcraft.”
In WoW, “feign death” is a skill acquired by hunters at level 30 that allows them to take a page from the possum playbook, collapse to the ground, and convince their enemies — who lose all ingrained animosity in the process — that they’ve died.

Perhaps gaming is good after all?

Do you want a pet or just feel that you have some money to spend on something more or less useless?
The USB Hamster Wheel is an utter delight. Plug it into your USB port, load the software from the CD provided and get typing. As you type, the hamster gets running, spinning the hamster wheel around in the process - the faster you type, the faster he runs.

Do you want a better looking cellphone?
If you do, perhaps one of the cellphones on gadgets.fosfor.se is something for you.
By just looking at them and skipping functionality, I want a Samsung SGH-E900.

I just found a perfect thing for my birthday wish list.
The Le Million de la nuit phone. From one of the sites (engadget) that I have seen it mentioned:
This one-of-a-kind quad-band handset by Goldvish sports a blinding 120 carats worth of VVS-1 grade diamonds, according to designer Emmanuel Gueit, and as you’d expect from a seven-figure phone, features such amenities as Bluetooth, a camera with 8x digital zoom, MP3 playback, FM radio, included 2GB memory card and an EDGE connection
Unfortunately, I don´t think the chance that I will ever get it as a birthday gift is very big, so now lets see, where did I put the paypal donation info… <— Just kidding.

If you got nothing to do while flying, perhaps taking a shower in the air would be a thing to do.
I found this on the New Scientist site.
Wouldn’t it be refreshing to take a shower on a long-haul flight or a cross-country bus journey? But a key problem is that carrying enough water adds too much bulk and weight to the vehicle.
So Boeing commissioned an 11-strong team in Washington State to look for the solution. The result is an in-flight (or in-bus) shower that turns a little water into a lot of mist.
Rest of the story here.

PC World have made a list of what they believe is the 25 worst tech products of all time.
From their site:
At PC World, we spend most of our time talking about products that make your life easier or your work more productive. But it’s the lousy ones that linger in our memory long after their shrinkwrap has shriveled, and that make tech editors cry out, “What have I done to deserve this?”
While there are some products on that list that I have never heard of, most of the ones they dislike, I agree about.
Have fun while you read it.

Do you like Google and their services and perhaps using several of them?
Then perhaps Simply Google is something for you.
The site have links and search boxes to what I believe is every service Google have.
I haven´t tried every search box on the site yet, but it looks useful. And I don´t have to click my way from page to page to find the service I wanna use.

If you want to learn about Sweden and the swedish language, perhaps the blog How to learn Swedish in 1000 difficult lessons is something for you.
The blog is written by an American who moved to Sweden a few years ago. I didn´t know about this blog until it was mentioned in the Swedish news paper Aftonbladet.
I have read this blog now for a little while and I would highly recommend it for those who wants to know more about daily swedish things and our language.
