I wasn´t sure about the english translation for todays word first so I had to look it up and it turns up that todays word can mean several different things. But todays word is the 5th explanation of the word on this page.

Flying Jacob / Flygande Jacob
Chicken course served best with ris.
Ingredients / Ingredienser
Instructions / Instruktioner
Turn the oven to 225 degrees C. Convert to Fahrenheit here.
Bone out out the chicken and put the pieces in to a greased ovenproof form.
Spice with some salt and peper and add the italian spice.
Peal the bananas and slice them. Put the bananas on top of the chicken.
Whip the cream and mix whith the chilisauce.
Spread the cream and chilimix on top of the chickenbits and bananas.
Put in oven for 20 min or to the bed is colored.
Fry the bacon and cut it into pieces.
Spread the bacon and penuts over the finished course.
Serve with rice.
Writing this made me hungry…Back when plate is empty.

Potatismos is todays word. It means Mashed potatoes.
Not sure if any other countries have potatismos together with the köttbullar, but here in Sweden it is the most common thing eaten together with köttbullar.

Why did I choose colors to be todays words?
Simply because I bought a bluetooth product yesterday and was going to teach you the words for blue and toooth, tooth is tand in swedish, so I bought a blÃ¥tand product, but then I thought “why not teach out some colors”?

Todays word is vänlig which means kind.
However, the word, kind, can meaning something else too and that is sort (as in what kind is that).
The english word sort means sortera.
I guess you got several words in todays lesson.
Now to another matter…
In Todays word for April 1 I made a comment to Bruce that he is a “knäppskalle”. That is true.
But the swedish word knäppskalle can be used to either express that someone is nuts (in a nice way), or when you wanna use another word for idiot.
In the case with Bruce, I ment it the nice way.
